Here’s the Thrive Thursday roundup for December 5, 2013:
First up is What is Bridget Reading? She’s sharing an Alice in Wonderland program filled with games, crafts and food ideas to take you down the rabbit hole. I love these ideas and you can adapt them to fit any tea party theme, too!
The Show Me Librarian brings Steampunk to the elementary age complete with games, activities, and a cool video clip of books you can use. You must learn how to play airball and airship!
Bryce Don’t Play is sharing a ton of ideas to do with third graders in her outreach program (of course you can adapt this to a variety of ages). I’m loving how awesome her outreach ideas are and will be taking notes. I’ll be using these magic trick ideas soon, though I admit I keep going back to this post to watch Gob dance with his cards. Haha!
Abby the Librarian is a guest blogger at ALSC this week and is sharing her Winter Reading Program. I’d love to see how this works out.
And I’m sharing a Night at the Museum Book vs. Movie Program. Read the picture book, then play the Bingo Game.
