I’ve been beefing up my flannel stories for the toddler age. I came across Jane Cabrera’s Mommy, Carry Me Please! and thought it would be a great addition. The story introduces a variety of animals and body parts.
I made a flannel story with BIG Mommy animals, and tiny baby animals:
After reading the story and letting children take a turn with a flannel pieces, I passed out scarves and had the children wiggle the scarves over their body parts just like the baby animals. It was a blast!
What stories can you use scarves with?
